Time: 15–30 minutes

Preparation:

Photocopy the attached template on to thin card. One template per child is required.

Resources needed:

Green card.

Glue

Paint, crayons, felt tip pens

Cotton wool

Description of the activity:

1. Get the children to either draw around their hand onto the green card, or if you desire make a hand print in paint. Black is probably best as the fingers will become the legs of the sheep.

• Get the children to cut out the templates (or have them ready prepared). Glue first the body and then the head. The position of the head is determined by the thumb of the hand print.
• Decorate the sheep as desired!
