Cannon Hall Farm welcomes over 40,000 school children each year making it one of the region’s top educational attractions.

Our one-hour guided tour offers an illuminating educational experience designed to fulfil many of the requirements of the national curriculum.

Then the children can enjoy our Adventure Playground.

It’s one of the biggest and best in the region with over £400,000 of investment in the spring of 2011.
There are spectacular new pyramid towers and slides, a huge new space net, fantastic new climbing forest for the older children and an innovative new tube maze that will entertain kids of all ages and provide possibly the best game of hide and seek you’ve ever had.

Undercover area for rainy days

For rainy days we have large purpose built undercover picnic areas.

We provide a quality and value for money experience in a package featuring plenty of animal interaction with lots of scope for work back in the classroom.

In 2005 we were awarded the title “Best Farm For Schools” in the UK.

A day at Cannon Hall Farm is full of possibilities for follow on work and a great investment in the future of your children.

Dozens of schools visit each year because they know we offer the best combination for schools, education and entertainment side by side.

We do all we can to make your visit run smoothly and be safe, fun and informative.

Here’s what one of our 2011 visitors had to say:

I would like to thank all the staff involved in today’s trip – from the first phone call to the guide Chloe that showed us round to the staff that worked in the canteen – thank you so much.

My class of energetic year 2s have said it was the best trip ever and I have to agree. Wonderful service, grounds and conditions for a safe and enjoyable environment. Thank you so very much for everything; the meet and greet and the sunflower seeds! Shelley First School will be back and I will be telling everyone I know how good it was.
