Evening Live with Marco – Sept 20
Join us for a very special evening with our equine vet Marco as we reflect on what has been an incredibly difficult few months for our Shire horses.
Marco will talk us through some of the challenges we’ve faced, including the heartbreaking loss of our much-loved Shire mare Ruby and our beautiful foal Iris.
We’ll look back at what happened, the huge efforts made to save them and some of the difficult decisions that have to be made when caring for these magnificent horses. But there have been brighter moments too.
We’ll chat about Yorkshire Rose’s recent success in the show ring, how our other Shires are progressing and what the future holds for our breeding programme as we continue our work with this increasingly rare breed.
It promises to be a fascinating, emotional and ultimately hopeful evening with the vet who has been alongside us through some of our biggest highs and hardest lows.
Expected Run Time: One Hour.
