We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our production team at Cannon Hall Farm, working with beef, pork and lamb from carcass through to primals and trims. This is a behind-the-scenes role focused on quality, efficiency and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Breaking down carcasses of beef, pork and lamb
  • Trimming, portioning and preparing meat to specification
  • Maximising yield while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and traceability practices
  • Keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with health & safety standards
  • Working effectively as part of the butchery and wider farm team

Hours & Pay:

  • 40–50 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • £14–£15 per hour, negotiable depending on experience

About You:

  • Proven experience in carcass butchery and trimming
  • Strong knowledge of beef, pork and lamb
  • Reliable, efficient and takes pride in producing high-quality work
