Butcher (Carcass & Trimming)
We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our production team at Cannon Hall Farm, working with beef, pork and lamb from carcass through to primals and trims. This is a behind-the-scenes role focused on quality, efficiency and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Breaking down carcasses of beef, pork and lamb
- Trimming, portioning and preparing meat to specification
- Maximising yield while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and traceability practices
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with health & safety standards
- Working effectively as part of the butchery and wider farm team
Hours & Pay:
- 40–50 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- £14–£15 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
About You:
- Proven experience in carcass butchery and trimming
- Strong knowledge of beef, pork and lamb
- Reliable, efficient and takes pride in producing high-quality work
