We’re launching something special at Cannon Hall Farm — a brand-new takeaway pizza concept built around traditional, hand-crafted, Neapolitan-style pizzas.
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo to help bring it to life.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled chef who wants ownership, creativity, and the chance to grow within a fast-paced, supportive kitchen environment.
The Role
You’ll be leading the day-to-day running of a dedicated pizza kitchen, creating exceptional pizzas using traditional techniques, high-quality ingredients, and a passion for authentic flavour.
This is a hands-on role with a mix of daytime and evening shifts, ideal for someone who thrives on energy, consistency, and delivering great food under pressure.
You’ll report directly to the Head Chef and work as part of the wider team at White Bull restaurant, with opportunities to contribute across the kitchen when needed.
You’ll also work closely with our Head Baker and Bakery team to develop, refine, and maintain the dough process — from fermentation and hydration through to consistency and quality — ensuring an authentic and outstanding product every time.
What We’re Looking For
- A skilled Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo with proven experience
- Strong knowledge of Neapolitan-style pizza (experience with other styles a plus)
- Currently working at Senior Chef de Partie / Sous Chef level, or leading a pizza section
- Able to work independently and confidently run a small team
- Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about quality, consistency, and authentic cooking methods
- A team player who’s happy to support the wider kitchen when required
Desirable:
- Experience in broader Italian cuisine (pasta, antipasti, etc.)
- Previous experience opening or setting up a new food concept
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking authentic, hand-stretched pizzas
- Working alongside the Head Baker on dough development, fermentation, and daily prep
- Managing dough processes (fermentation, proofing, stretching)
- Running the pizza kitchen independently day-to-day
- Training and supporting junior team members
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service
- Supporting the wider kitchen team when required
