Channel 5 has revealed details of its event programme for the  highly anticipated ‘5 on the Farm’ festival, confirmed to be taking place on August Bank  Holiday weekend (28th, 29th and 30th August), at Cannon Hall Farm, home to This Week on  the Farm.  

Cast & Crew of Channel 5 hit TV series All Creatures Great and Small will be joining the all star line-up alongside the recently announced Ben Fogle, Amanda Owen, Graeme Hall, The  Yorkshire Vets, Adam Henson, Rob & Dave Nicholson and hosts Jules Hudson, Helen Skelton  and JB Gill. 

Organisers have also revealed event programme details for each of the areas featured at the  event! 

The Main Stage event will see adventurer Ben Fogle perform his ‘Tales From the  Wilderness’ show live, and fans of hit show This Week on the Farm will be delighted that  the series’ star farmers will also be hitting the main stage with their fun and entertaining  show: ‘Rob & Dave: Oh ‘eck Live!’ 

The Main Stage will also feature Graeme Hall and his show, ‘The Dogfather’, Amanda Owen  in ‘The Yorkshire Shepherdess Live’, TV vets Peter Wright and Julian Norton will be  performing ‘The Yorkshire Vet Live: It Shouldn’t Happen to a Yorkshire Vet’. 

Stefan Gates of ‘Secrets of Your Supermarket Food’ series will perform ‘The Mindblowing  Gastronaut Show!’ and Adam Henson will be sharing his tales of farming life too, with his  original show, ‘My Life on the Land’.  

In The Barn, visitors can join in with live Q&As with Ben Fogle & Amanda and Reuben Owen,  get Dog Training Tips with Graeme Hall and meet their favourite animals from the show all  in our live studio seet ‘behind the scenes’ experience

The Kitchen Stage will see newly announced top UK children’s food author and ‘What  Mummy Makes’ Instagram star Rebecca Wilson, recreating some of her favourite dishes  from The Sunday Times Best Selling cook book, What Mummy Makes: Cook just once for  you and your baby. 

Joining Rebecca on the Kitchen stage will be This Week on the Farm and Cannon Hall’s very  own chef Tim Bilton, as well as Amanda Owen cooking up a Yorkshire feast. 

The Allotment will be the area for all green fingered fans attending, which will be hosting an  array of top experts and workshops, including rising horticultural star, TV gardener, Tayshan  Hayden-Smith and Our Yorkshire Farm’s Reuben Owen – not to be missed! 

Young visitors can expect endless fun and entertainment in the Milkshake! Meadow where  newly announced favourites Fireman Sam and Firefighter Penny Morris, plus Daisy & Ollie,  will be joined by Peppa Pig, Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol, Milkshake! Monkey and  Blue from Blue’s Clues and You

As a special treat, the festival can now also confirm that little ones will also be able enjoy a  meet and greet with Fireman Sam and Firefighter Penny supported by South Yorkshire’s  Fire & Rescue team, who will be bringing along a real fire engine! 

As well as top names, the festival’s programme will be packed full of creative workshops,  crafting, outdoor activities – all included in the ticket entry price. 

Yorkshire’s enviable home-grown food and drink will be celebrated too with the Food  Festival and The Village Show at the dog-friendly festival.
