Afternoon Tea at Cannon Hall Farm
Delicious, home cooked food is a staple of life at Cannon Hall Farm and, with three fantastic restaurants and an award-winning farm shop on site, it is easy to see why.
Our farming history relies heavily on our food production – back in the 80s Farmer Cynthia would bake dozens of scones to our family’s secret recipe in a bid to attract customers to the farm (and they’d sell out every week.)
Now, we have an on site bakery underneath our farm shop which makes fresh deli counter items every single day.
We are thrilled to now offer several options for our afternoon teas – which all have to be booked in advance.
The price is per person (photographs show an afternoon tea for two.)
Order before 3.30pm for collection the next day from 11am. Items come in a takeaway box for you to set up at home.
Our Afternoon Tea Options
White Bull Afternoon Tea (Eat In Only)
This special afternoon tea includes some favourites from our White Bull chefs, including our mouth-watering twice-cooked chips.
Standard
Sandwiches: ham with tomato and onion chutney, egg and bacon mayonnaise, savoury cheese, cream cheese with dill and cucumber.
Savouries: breaded brie, prawn crayfish and smoked salmon cocktail, chips.
Sweet things: home made scone with jam and clotted cream, lemon tart, chocolate brownie.
Vegetarian
Sandwiches: savoury cheese, cream cheese with dill and cucumber.
Savouries: breaded brie, fennel, lemon and thyme arancini, green and red salad, coleslaw and greek salad and chips.
Sweet things: home made scone with jam and clotted cream, lemon tart, chocolate brownie.
Farm Shop Afternoon Tea - Takeaway Only
This option includes some of our award-winning farm shop food favourites – like our pork pies and cakes – the perfect option to takeaway to eat in our picnic areas, or to set up for a celebration at home.
Standard
Sandwiches: ham, cheese and tomato, beef and horseradish and salmon and cream cheese.
Savouries: a quarter of our home made pork pie and a half of our mediterranean vegetable quiche.
Cakes: home made scone with jam and clotted cream, brownie, shortbread and Victoria sponge slice.
Vegetarian
Sandwiches: brie, spinach and cranberry, cheese and tomato, cheese and onion marmalade, sundried tomatoes, avocado and mixed leaf.
Savouries: small pot of Greek salad, half of our mediterranean vegetable quiche.
Cakes: home made scone with jam and clotted cream, brownie, shortbread and Victoria sponge slice.
Children's Afternoon Tea - Eat in or Takeaway
We now offer a special kids version which includes:
Sandwiches (all on white bread) : apple and raspberry jam, Cheddar cheese, ham.
Savouries: mini Cannon Hall Farm Sausage Roll, mini Babybel cheese and a piece of fruit
Treats: a party bun with buttercream and sprinkles, a chocolate rice crispy bar with marshmallows and a chocolate chip shortbread. Also comes with a fruit drink.
