Checking in on the Snow Experts – our reindeer!

Farmer Rob is making the most of the snow on the ground and checking in on the reindeer at Cannon Hall Farm, who are enjoying the weather.

And of course, his favourite reindeer Roger, is first on scene for snuggles.

Lambing in the Snow

It's the toughest conditions we've faced in a while, but our lambs are starting to arrive in the middle of a the heavy snow. Join Farmer Rob for a lambing with a difference as he makes his rounds. Feeding the Sheep in Knee-High Snow!

it may look pretty, the snow does bring more challenges for our farm team, especially when the snow is so deep the sheep can't nibble the grass.

It means extra work for Farmer Danny who has to wade through knee-deep snow to make sure the sheep have hay to feed.

Highland Cow Check In

With winter firmly taking hold here in the UK, our hardy herd of Highland cows has been moved indoors for the next few months.

These magnificent animals are among the hardiest on the farm - thanks to their thick, double-layered coats that protect them from harsh weather - so Farmer Ruth is here to explain why.

Tufty Ears and Waistcoats!

Did you know that red squirrels don't always have the cute, tufty ears? And sometimes they even grow little fur waistcoats?

Farmer Georgie is here checking in with our gorgeous squirrels in their enclosure and shows their behaviour in winter.

Farmer Kate checks in with our pregnant Shetland Pony M who is nearing her due date and is now at the critical stage of her pregnancy - where we have to ensure she's eating exactly the right amount of food.

A new arrival in the reptile house!

Farmer Kate was thrilled to discover the tiny addition in one of our reptile house enclosures - make sure you consider coming to visit us over the holidays.
