This lambing season we've had a major upgrade in our lambing barns - we've got heat boxes, hay racks, new water facilities all to make sure our lambs get VIP treatment. We're lambing right through February half term.

There's lots of excitement that goes on in our lambing night shifts - and Farmers Dave and Ruth made sure to capture this tricky new arrival.

Hey hey hey! It's a critical time in our roundhouse as we move our new mums out to make way for our February lambers.

We have a problem - our brand new mum, the cow with no name, is at risk of mastitis and so our farmers are having to stage an intervention to protect her from infection.

But when a Highland Cow has big horns, that's easier said than done.

What an unexpected arrival! Farmer Rob is in the roundhouse with a rathern unexpected new arrival - this beautiful Swiss Valais lamb.

She's in great order and living her best life in the roundhouse.

Sapphire is looking a million dollars, and her foal is looking strong. Farmer Rob is live in the roundhouse at Cannon Hall Farm and is absolutely thrilled with the new arrival.

It's time to say a bittersweet goodbye to one of our beloved Shires - but we are so pleased that we have found her a happy new home that will be full of friendship and adventure. Join Farmer Rob in wishing a fond farewell to Valentine.

Blossom is a superstar having her feet done by Dan, the farrier.
