How will Ted fare?
Farmer Kate’s Kids
Our farmers are hand-rearing Tiny Goat (Camilla) because she's been unable to feed from mum.
We've been following her progress and this is the moment Farmer Kate decided the best way forward for her well-being.
Hand-rearing isn't easy - it is just like ...read more
Ted the teenager!
Young Ted is growing into a strapping bull and he's entered the phase where he's like a teenager.
Farmer Dale gives us an update as our young fella prepares for his appearance on Channel 5 TV Show This Week On The Farm, which airs on Tuesday June 16 at 8pm.
Feeding the Lamb
"We've had a delivery at the roundhouse - it's not a parcel!"
Farmer David is getting his video intros down now as he updates us on a lamb who is struggling to feed.
The bond just wasn't there between lamb and mum so our farm team had to work hard to try to make that bond as strong as possible.
Farmer Tom – Lambing in Lockdown
This video is a little while old now, but we didn't have chance to post it during lambing as we weren't sure if it would be needed for our show.
However this is a fantastic close up video of Farmer Tom lambing a sheep - join us as he fights to get the baby out safely.
Goat Kids at Cannon Hall Farm
The rain came to Cannon Hall Farm this week - and it came heavy so Farmer Robert decided to bring in our pregnant goats.
His timing was impeccable because they gave birth within 48 hours. Here's Farmer Dale with an update.
CCTV Goat Birth
** CCTV GOAT KIDDING **
Our barn CCTV captured some amazing footage of a live goat birth - it is always fascinating to see how the animals interact when we aren't watching but it is brilliant for us to be able to see if they need us.Thankfully this amazing mum managed just fine without our help.
Bringing in the goats
Our goats are wily little things and when our farmers came to take them in from the rain they had their own ideas.
These are due to kid any day - so we knew it would be better for them to come back inside for the warmth of the barns. But they didn't make it easy on us...
Can Farmer Robert save the goat kid?
Farmer Robert and David were eagle-eyed on the CCTV when this Boer goat went into labour - but it quickly became apparent that trouble was on the horizon.
The kid was unresponsive - can they get to it in time?** WARNING: CONTAINS LIVE FOOTAGE OF BIRTH **
Farmer Dale with Stanley and Gloria
Farmer Dale feels that Stanley and Gloria have been somewhat neglected in our more recent broadcasts - so please join him as he catches up with two of our old farm favourites.
Don't forget - you can adopt our goats on our website now.
Tiny Lamb’s Triumph
My how he's grown! Tiny isn't so tiny any more but we couldn't be happier about it.
Thanks to the special care and attention he recieved from our whole team, he's absolutely thriving and he's ready for stepping out into the big wide world with his mum.
An Injured Iguana!
Our farm isn't just about the cute and furry animals.
We have a special reptile house that we custom-built to home rescue reptiles that were saved from unsuitable domestic homes.
Farmer Kate really loves the reptile house - and she's joined by Farmer Ruth as they tend to an injured iguana.
