- Party Bookings
6.1 Cannon Hall Farm offers two different types of children’s parties:
- non-exclusive access to the Hungry Llama play area for a minimum of 10 children; or
- exclusive access to Hungry Llama Play area between 9am and 10am on your chosen day for minimum of 10 children;
For those booking a non-exclusive access party, please note seating areas within the play area itself are limited and no specific area will be designated for the use of birthday parties. A separate party room is provided for the use for food purposes only.
6.2 Booking requirements
When booking a party, please note the minimum requirements; a minimum of 10 children are required. Our website will allow you to manage your own booking for up to 20 guests. If you require a larger party size, our bookings team will be able to tailor make a party experience for you.
All bookings are subject to a £50 non-refundable deposit which must be paid in full at the time of booking. Your date will not be held for you until this payment is made.
Please ensure you correctly fill in all your details for your party so we know who to expect on the day. You will be able to add in birthday party guest names, extra adults accompanying them plus optional extras such as cakes, sweet bags and slushes.
The cut off point for providing this data and paying your full balance is ten days before your party.
6.3 On the day of the party, please ensure you have shared your birthday party barcode with all guests so we can scan them in when they arrive.
Although your party room is only available for the one hour 45 minutes booked, on our peak parties guests can arrive anytime from 10am and stay at our farm all day. Unfortunately this does not apply to our reduced-rate off peak parties, where entry can only be made after 3.15pm due to the discounted party rate you will have paid.
Please respect the amount of time allocated in your party room, as our team do have to have time to clean and set up for the next session. Should you arrive late, there is no guarantee that your party can be extended.
6.4 Packages and prices
Please note all prices are correct at the time of booking. Once purchased bookings cannot be changed to apply any offers.
Each birthday party has a minimum of ten child guests. Each guest is entitled to bring one free adult to accompany and supervise them, apart from the birthday party child who can bring two.
Any additional guests required can be added and paid in advance through your birthday party booking portal or, if you’d rather not cover this cost yourself, they can pay the discounted rate themselves on the day.
Food is only provided for the birthday party guests, not for any accompany adults or additional guests.
6.5 Managing your party
Once you have paid your deposit, your party time has been reserved. You can then log in to your birthday party booking portal at passport.cannonhallfarm.co.uk to fully manage this booking. You can add and remove guests as you need to, providing you do not go under the party minimums.
You can add extra guests if you choose to, and add optional extras such as sweet bags, slush and birthday cake.
Ten days before your party is the final deadline for payment. After this point, it is no longer possible to reduce the numbers you have specified, however, you can log in and change the name of guests should you require to allocate the paid spot to another guest.
Our system will allow you to add extra guests, if you need to, right up to 24 hours before your party, however payment for these must be made straight away.
6.6 Food options and dietary requirements
We serve a set menu for all our birthday parties which is buffet style and outlined in the information section of your birthday party booking portal.
It is your responsibility as the party organiser to let us know of any dietary requirements at least 10 days prior to the date on your booking. Any requirements not specified up to this time may result in these requirements not being able to be met.
If you have any specific dietary requirements, you will be able to input these in your birthday party booking portal.
Cannon Hall Farm cannot guarantee an allergen free meal.
6.7 Payments
A payment of £50 is required to secure your date – and your running balance for the number of guests and extras will show in your birthday party booking portal, alongside your payment deadline date as a simple reminder.
You can pay your balance in full at any time. You can also pay in instalments to help you spread the costs of your party.
Final payment is due ten days before your party date. If payment is not received by this time, Cannon Hall Farm reserves the right to cancel your booking with a forfeiture of any funds paid up until this time. If you are struggling to pay in the allotted time, please do communicate with us by emailing bookings@cannonhallfarm.co.uk.
6.8 Cancelling a party
Please note, once you have paid your deposit, we do allow a cooling off period. Should you wish to cancel your party, you can do so, provided this is done 14 days before your birthday party date.
Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card. Please allow up to seven days for the refund to be processed and issued.
Any cancellations wishing to be made within 10 days of the party date will be non-refundable. Because our system allows you the full flexibility to manage your booking at any point up to 24 hours before your party date, Cannon Hall Farm will not refund the cost for any guests that are last minute cancellations or no-shows.
